Woodley's Promotes the Habitat Restore -
For the fourth year in a row, Woodley's Fine Furniture has held a promotion on behalf of Habitat for Humanity. Every year, Woodley's collects used furniture from their customers and then invites all the Restores in the Colorado front range to come and pick out items to sell in their stores. Donations include high-end furniture in pristine condition. Check out some of the items at facebook.com/ftcollinshabitatforhumanityrestore.
By donating this furniture instead of selling it themselves, Woodley's Fine Furniture helps Habitat for Humanity raise money to build homes in partnership with lower income families in communities up and down the Front Range.
"The generosity of Woodley's Fine Furniture is helping to make Colorado a better place. All of us at Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity would like to offer them our sincere thanks for their support!" Joe K. (Fort Collins Restore)
Woodley's supports Volunteers of America -
For almost 30 years, Woodley's Fine Furniture is proud to have teamed up with Volunteers of America city harvest food bank. Woodley's has donated over 200 tons of food since 1996 to help Colorado residents in need through our annual canned food drive, as well as through supplemental funding.
The idea started in 1996 when customers were given a
chance at additional savings off their furniture purchase by bringing
in five cans of food during the month of October. After collecting the
cans from our six showrooms, we count them and then match the number
of cans collected. The food is then delivered by our Longmont warehouse
crew to the Volunteers of America warehouse in Denver. We have run
this campaign annually since 1996.
